Agra Chains Pvt Ltd is located over in the Janpath area of New Delhi. We are actually based within the Conservation Section of the Archeological Survey of India. It is an interesting place to be because of all the history around the building. Pankaj Kumar is the one who usually handles the day-to-day things here. Our workspace is pretty traditional, with high ceilings and old windows. It can get a bit dusty with all the papers and archives, but that is just part of being in this part of the city. We don't have the kind of modern office you see in the newer parts of Delhi. Instead, we have heavy desks and lots of registers. The work is steady and involves a lot of coordination with different departments. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking over to other offices nearby. It is a busy environment, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is rushing around. We don't really do any marketing or promotion. Most of our work comes through official channels and long-standing connections. Sometimes tourists wander in by mistake thinking it is a museum, and we have to point them in the right direction. It is a bit of a maze in here. We enjoy the routine and the fact that we are right in the heart of the city, even if the commute is a bit of a headache. The lunch hour is always lively around here.
