M S Devknit Fab Ltd. Our office is in the C 80 DDA Flats in Old Rajinder Nagar. It is a busy part of New Delhi and there is always something happening right outside our door. We deal with fabrics and knitting work so there are often bags of samples tucked into the corners of the rooms. The space is a bit tight because we have to store a lot of different materials, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent checking on orders and talking to people about different types of cloth. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we just close the windows and carry on. We have been in this flat for quite a while and it has become a very familiar place for us. The kitchen has been turned into a small area for storing files and we usually eat lunch at our desks. It is not the kind of place with a big lobby or a receptionist. Usually, one of us just opens the door when someone knocks. We know the other people in the block and sometimes we stop to chat when we are heading out for a snack. It is a very grounded way to run a business. We focus on the work we have at hand and do not worry too much about having a fancy setup. It just needs to be functional for what we do.
