We’ve got our little setup at N 12A in Anand Parbat, specifically on Gali Number 9. It’s a narrow lane and it’s always full of activity. Like most of the shops around here, we are focused on tools and getting things fixed or sold. It’s a small room and the light isn't the best, but we’ve been here long enough that we could probably work in the dark. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations. It’s just the name on the door and a lot of metal inside. The noise from the other workshops on the street is constant, so you have to talk loud to be heard. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we often borrow things from each other when we’re short. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't have a computer for the sales; we just use a paper book and a pen. Some days it’s so hot we have to take breaks every hour, but we get the work done eventually. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine. It’s just a basic tool shop in a busy part of town. We don’t do much advertising because people just know we are here. If you need something, you just come by and ask. That’s how we like to keep it. We spend most of our mornings just setting things up and checking the inventory.
