M C Machine Tools

You can find us at 17/9 Anand Parbat Main Road, right where the traffic is usually at its worst. This part of Delhi is always moving, and M C Machine Tools is right in the middle of that chaos. The shop is full of old machines, metal shavings, and the smell of industrial oil. It’s not the cleanest place you’ll ever visit, but it’s a real working shop. We’ve got stuff piled up in the corners that has probably been there since the day we opened. The main road is right outside, so there’s a constant sound of horns and people shouting, which you just get used to after a week or two. We have a small wooden desk where we handle the bills, usually covered in grease smudges. There are no fancy meetings or PowerPoint presentations here. We just look at the machines, figure out what’s wrong or what needs making, and get to it. Some days the power cuts out and we just sit out on the steps watching the cars go by until the generator kicks in or the lights come back on. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we’re a pretty tight-knit group. It’s just a typical day of hard work on the main road.
