Thinking Design Studio

We’re located in R-45 on the second floor of Faraz Complex. It’s a bit of a climb, but we like the space once we're up here. Thinking Design Studio is really just a few of us who like making things look right. We have a couple of big tables pushed together and computers that hum all day long. Most of our time is spent sketching things out or staring at layouts. The light in this building is okay during the morning, but we usually have the desk lamps on by the afternoon. It gets a little cluttered with paper scraps and coffee mugs, but that’s just how we work. We don’t really have a big reception area or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us hunched over our screens. People come to us when they need something designed, and we just sit down and try to figure it out. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought it would because we get stuck on a small detail that doesn't look right. We don’t really use big words to describe what we do. We just make drawings and layouts. Faraz Complex is a busy place, so there’s always some noise coming from the street or the hallway. We’ve grown used to it over the months. It’s a practical space for what we need to do. We just focus on the work and try to keep things simple without overcomplicating the process.
