Fish Eye Design Pvt Ltd is based at Padma Kutir on Prithivi Raj Road, number 35 A. It’s a nice old building that has a bit of character to it. We aren't in one of those shiny new glass offices. Instead, we have high ceilings and some older windows that sometimes stick. It’s a good place to do design work because it feels a bit more creative than a cubicle. We have our drafting tables and our computers set up where the light is best. Prithivi Raj Road is a well-known area, but our spot is relatively quiet. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic, which is fine by us. We mostly work with people we’ve known for years. The team here is small and we all do a bit of everything. One day we might be sketching out an idea and the next we are dealing with the printers or some boring paperwork. We have a lot of books and samples lying around everywhere. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just like making things look right. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time looking at screens or paper. It’s a simple business and we like the local feel of being in Padma Kutir.
