Larsen & Toubro Limited

We are based in Kamala Nagar, specifically at F 76 on the first floor. It’s the Ved Prakash Sinha building, which most locals in this part of Delhi can point out to you. Being on the first floor is nice because we get a bit of a breeze if we leave the windows open, though the street noise from Kamala Nagar comes in too. This Larsen & Toubro Limited office is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms knocked together to make space for the desks and the computers. We have stacks of files everywhere because there is always something to keep track of. The floor tiles are a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth, but they’ve held up okay over the years. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background to keep things from being too silent. It’s a busy area with students and shoppers everywhere, so there is a lot of energy around us. We mostly focus on our own tasks and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. It’s a real, working office without any of the extra polish you see in the big city towers. We just do what we need to do and head home when it's done.
