We’re situated at 1408 Bank Street in Karol Bagh. This area is famous for gold and jewelry, but there’s a good mix of other businesses like ours too. We handle auto parts and some repair work for vehicles. The shop floor is usually covered with boxes of spare parts like filters, belts, and spark plugs. It gets pretty dusty because of all the traffic on the main road. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the bills. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby or other mechanics looking for specific components. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking on Bank Street, so people often just stop their bikes for a minute to pick something up. We open around ten in the morning and stay open until the market starts winding down. It’s a lot of back-and-forth talking to suppliers and checking inventory. The lights inside are a bit dim, but we know where everything is kept. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still noted down in registers. It’s a straightforward business. We just sell what people need for their cars and try to keep enough stock on hand. The tea shops nearby keep us going during the long afternoons. It's been this way for years and we don't plan on changing much about how we work.
