Kapil Krishnan

I work out of Flat Number 18 in the Central Gandhi Smarak area. It's a bit of a different spot, being near Nidhi Rajghat and Delhi Gate. The location has a lot of history, which makes it a nice place to be based. It's not like a regular corporate office park with glass buildings. It feels more like a community where people actually live and know each other. Kapil Krishnan is basically just me and a few tools of the trade. I’ve lived and worked in this part of Delhi for a while now. The 110002 area is quite busy, but once you get inside the flat, it’s quiet enough to get things done without too much distraction. I don't really have a big staff or anyone answering the phones for me. If you call, you're usually talking to me directly. Sometimes I’m out on a job or just running errands around Delhi Gate, so I might miss a call here and there. The space is a bit cramped with books and papers, but I know where everything is. It’s a very simple way of doing things. I don’t see any point in making it look like something it’s not. People find me through word of mouth mostly. They know I'm here at the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi. It’s a decent place to work from and the rent is manageable. There’s a certain routine to the day here. I start early before the traffic really kicks in. It’s honest work, and I like the independence of it.
