We are located at 79 2B in Sector 2, right on Kali Bari Marg. This part of New Delhi has a very different feel compared to the busy markets. It’s a bit more planned out since it’s near the government quarters and parks. Our space is functional and very straightforward. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of us arrive early to avoid the worst of the Delhi traffic. The office has some big windows but they mostly look out at other similar buildings. We have a small area in the corner where we keep the kettle for making tea. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, though you can hear the heavy buses passing by on the main road. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but they’ve been that same color for years. We do a lot of administrative work here every day. It’s a lot of typing and checking various documents. There isn’t a big reception area or a front desk. You just walk in and we’re all right there working. We don’t really bother with fancy titles or hierarchies. Everyone just does what needs to be done to finish the tasks. The ceiling fans hum all day long. Sometimes we order food from a small place nearby when we have to stay late for work. It’s a steady kind of life here in New Delhi. We don’t change things up much because this setup works for us.
