Our place is at No. 452 G. T. Road, and if you know that road, you know how loud and fast it is. Shri Ram Gypsum Industriyes has been sitting here right on the main stretch for a long time. Gypsum is a messy business, to be honest. There is white powder on almost everything, from the desks to the trucks parked outside. We spend a lot of time checking the boards and making sure the supplies are moving out to the sites where they are needed. It is not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most of us are in old clothes that we do not mind getting dirty. The G.T. Road heat can be pretty bad in the summer, and the fans in the warehouse just move the warm air around, but we keep going. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard for the delivery drivers to pull in or out, so there is a lot of shouting and waving of arms to get things moving. We just stay focused on the daily tasks. It is a lot of counting sheets and writing down orders on paper pads. People stop by because they saw the sign while driving past. It is just a regular industrial spot where people work hard and try to get home on time. There is no mystery to what we do here; it is just gypsum and hard work. We try to keep things moving as smoothly as the traffic allows.
