Jandu Brothers

Jandu Brothers is located over at Gali Number 1 on Guru Gobind Singh Marg. We have been at this spot in Anand Parbat for quite a few years. It is a family thing, so we all know how the place runs and where everything is kept. The street outside is usually full of people and carts passing by. Inside, it is mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks. We have got shelves full of stock and some old ledgers we still use for tracking. It is not a fancy showroom. It is a working space where things get moved around constantly. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We start early and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it is quiet in the afternoon. We handle all sorts of requests that come through the door. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We know most of the people who walk past every morning. It is a community feel here in Anand Parbat. We do not bother with much fancy talk. If someone needs something, we just look for it. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the right part in the back room. We have seen the area change a lot over the years. But our little spot at number 3 stays pretty much the same. It is just how we like it to be. We are comfortable here and plan to stay as long as we can.
