Impex Batteries

Being right at 73 D in Gokhle Market keeps us on our toes every single day. If you know the area opposite Tees Hazari Court, you know how busy the traffic gets with lawyers and folks heading to the metro. At Impex Batteries, we deal with a lot of heavy lifting. Those lead-acid batteries aren't light, and my back definitely feels it by the end of the week. The shop is filled with rows of black casings and that faint smell of electronics. We don't have a lot of space for sitting around. Usually, there are three or four of us moving stock or checking terminals with the multimeter. Sometimes the market gets so crowded we can barely get the delivery van parked out front. It's a bit of a squeeze inside with all the boxes stacked up towards the ceiling. We mostly just talk to people coming in with dead car batteries or looking for a backup for their home. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the sun hitting the front glass, but the fan keeps things moving. We’ve known the other shopkeepers in Gokhle Market for years, so there’s always someone stopping by for a chat while we work. It’s just a regular shop doing what we know how to do, right in the middle of all that chaos near the court.
