Our place is out in Sultanpur. It is a bit of a drive, but this is where we do all the cable work. Even though the address says U.P., we use the 110007 pincode area for a lot of our stuff. The workshop is usually hot because of the machinery and the materials we use for the Heatflex products. We have rolls of wire and different types of insulation stacked up against the walls. It isn't a showroom, it is a factory space. There is always the smell of plastic and metal in the air. The floor is concrete and has some stains from the machines over the years. We spend most of our day checking the thickness of the cables and making sure the machines are running right. If a machine breaks down, everything stops until we fix it ourselves. It is dusty work and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We do not have a big front office or a reception desk. If you come by, you will probably find us on the floor working. We have been making these cables for a long time now. People in the trade know us for just being here and doing the work. It is a simple operation without any bells and whistles. We just focus on getting the orders ready and loaded onto the trucks so they can go out to the customers.
