Our office is located at 2145/47 on Gurudeara Road in Karol Bagh. This part of Central Delhi is always moving, so there’s never a quiet moment. We are right in the thick of things. Finding a parking spot near the building is basically impossible most days, so we usually just walk or take a rickshaw. The building itself is one of those older Karol Bagh structures with the high ceilings and narrow hallways. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we sit and handle all the export stuff. The windows look out onto the main road, so we see all the shoppers and vendors passing by all day long. It can be a bit distracting, but it’s also quite lively. Inside, we have stacks of boxes and folders everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a relief in the summer. We get our lunch from a small place nearby that makes decent parathas. Most of our work involves a lot of typing and checking shipping documents. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we stay on top of it. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the old wiring in the area, so we just wait it out. It’s just a normal office in a very busy part of the city.
