Gupta Udyog

You’ll find Gupta Udyog over in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area, specifically at Plot No. Cr-12 in Gali No. 7. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how tight the lanes can be. Gali No. 7 is always buzzing with activity, and it can be a real challenge to get a vehicle through sometimes. We’ve been operating out of this plot for many years. It is a solid building, but it definitely shows its age. We do manufacturing work here, the kind of "udyog" that keeps your hands busy from dawn till dusk. There is always a rhythm to the shop floor, the sound of the machines and the workers talking over the noise. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of our business comes from the people who walk past our gate or from word of mouth in the local market. We drink a lot of chai to keep going, especially in the winter months. The space is a bit cluttered with raw materials and finished parts, but we know where everything is. It might look like a mess to an outsider, but to us, it’s just the way a working factory looks. We are just regular people making things. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just want to finish the day's work and head home to our families.
