We've been at 52/1798 on Hardhyan Singh Road for quite a while now. Most people around Karol Bagh know where the shop is. It's usually a bit messy with parts and tools laying around, but that's just how we work. My father started this place and I just kept it going because it's what I know. We handle a lot of different cars, mostly just fixing engines or dealing with suspension issues that happen on these roads. It gets pretty loud during the day with the traffic outside and the sound of wrenches clanking. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything. Most folks just drop their keys off and come back later in the evening when we're finishing up. Sometimes we stay late if a job is proving difficult, but we try to get home for dinner. The grease is hard to get out from under the fingernails, no matter how much soap I use. It's just a regular workshop where we do the work ourselves. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Delhi. Just keeping the doors open and the cars running is enough for us. If you walk past the Hardhyan Singh Road intersection, you'll see the sign. It’s a bit faded but it’s still there. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the cars still break down the same way they always did. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
