Garphic Designer

My name is Garphic Designer and I have been working out of my small office near Shiv Mandir in Wazirabad for a while now. Most people around here know where we are because of the temple. It gets pretty loud during festivals but we manage to get the work done. I spend most of my day sitting at the computer trying to figure out what looks good on paper for people who walk in. Delhi can be a tough place to run a business because everyone is in a hurry and traffic is always a mess. We handle things like pamphlets, wedding cards, and some local signage. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait or talk to the shopkeepers next door. It isn't a fancy studio with air conditioning that works all the time, but it’s our space. We have a couple of old desks and a printer that occasionally jams when we are in a rush. I started this because I liked drawing when I was younger and it turned into a job. Wazirabad is a busy area with a lot of regular people just trying to make a living. We don't have a big team, just a few of us here making sure the colors look right before things go to print. It is simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes clients bring tea and we talk about the news while looking at designs. That's just how we do things here.
