Deeco Mechatron Marketing Pvt Ltd isn’t hard to find once you get past the street vendors and the parked scooters. Being on the second floor gives us a little bit of a break from the noise of the market downstairs, but not much. It’s an old building, so the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. We carry things up and down all day. Karol Bagh is a busy place to do business, but it’s where all the action is. Inside, the office is mostly filled with files and samples. We don't have a big reception area or anything fancy. It’s just desks, some chairs, and a lot of talk about orders and deliveries. We drink a lot of tea while we look over the paperwork. The light in the afternoon hits the windows just right, making the room a bit warm. We usually keep the fans running full speed. It’s a simple operation. We know the neighbors, and we know the delivery guys by name. This part of Delhi has a lot of energy, and we just try to keep up with it. It’s a lot of manual work and phone calls, but that is how we like to run things here. The balcony overlooks the busy street where people are always shouting or honking their horns.
