D. Boz'S

Dev Nagar is where we set up D. Boz'S. It’s house number 6346/7. If you know Karol Bagh, you know how crowded these streets get. It’s noisy and there is always someone shouting or a horn honking outside. We’ve been in this spot for a while. The shop isn't very big, but we make it work. Most of our days are spent talking to people who drop in. We don't really do much advertising; people just find us by walking past. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there and wait for it to come back. It’s just part of living and working in this part of Delhi. We have some regular customers who come by just to chat sometimes. It’s a very local vibe here. My cousin helped me find this place years ago when I needed a spot. We handle a lot of different things, whatever is needed. It’s not a corporate office with suits or anything. I usually wear whatever is clean that morning. We keep the doors open even when it's dusty outside because the fan doesn't do much on its own. Karol Bagh is a tough place to work because of the competition, but we’ve stayed here. We know the neighbors. We know the tea stall guy around the corner. It’s just a normal business running out of a normal street in Dev Nagar. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
