R. S. Gupta And Sons

We are located down in Chawri Bazar, specifically at No. 3501 in Gali Bajrang Bali. If you know Chawri, you know how the lanes are—narrow and always full of people and carts moving things around. This shop has been in our family, R. S. Gupta And Sons, for quite some time. We handle different kinds of supplies, mostly stuff that people in the trade need. It’s a traditional setup, nothing like those new malls. We have big ledgers and the same wooden counters from years ago. My sons are involved now too, so there are usually three of us here making sure customers get what they need. The address is easy to find if you ask the locals in Gali Bajrang Bali. It gets very hot in the summer, so we have the old fans going all day. Dealing with the deliveries is the hardest part because the rickshaws can barely squeeze through the lane. But we like being here in the heart of the city. It’s where all the action is. Most of our customers have been coming to us for decades, even since my father was running the place. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the shop and our word. You just show up, tell us what you’re looking for, and we see if we have it in the back. It is a simple life and a simple business. We keep the shop open six days a week.
