Bath Emporium

You can find us at No. 3221 Gali Charan Dass, right in the middle of Chawari Bazar. If you’ve ever walked through Chawari Bazar, you know it’s one of those places where you have to watch your step because of all the people and carts. Bath Emporium is tucked away in the lane, and we spend most of our hours surrounded by pipes, taps, and all sorts of bathroom fittings. It’s not a quiet job at all. There is always someone shouting for a delivery or a rickshaw puller trying to squeeze past the front door. We have a lot of items crammed into the shelves at No. 3221, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for. Gali Charan Dass is quite narrow, so getting new stock in can be a real headache, usually involving a lot of carrying boxes by hand. We open up early and stay until the market starts to wind down in the evening. There isn't a lot of space for sitting around. We are usually on our feet, checking the inventory or helping someone figure out which part they need for their sink. It’s a very practical kind of life here. We don't have fancy displays, just the parts and pieces people need for their homes. That is just how things work in Chawari Bazar for us.
