Asian Glass Co.

Asian Glass Co. has been operating out of 3413 Bara Hindu Rao for quite some time now. This area is very old and the streets are quite narrow, so you really have to know where you are going to find us. It’s a place with a lot of character and history. We are surrounded by other shops and houses, and there is a constant buzz of activity from dawn until dusk. Our space is packed with glass of all kinds, and we have to be very careful how we move around so we don't knock anything over. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in some spots, but we know where everything is kept. The building itself shows its age, but it’s sturdy and has served us well. We don't have a modern showroom or anything like that. Instead, we have stacks of glass and the smell of cutting oil. Most of the people who come to see us are locals or tradesmen who have been coming here for years. We spend our days answering the phone, cutting glass to size, and chatting with the neighbors. It’s a traditional way of doing business where everyone knows everyone else. We don't use any fancy technology to manage things; a pen and a notebook usually do the trick. It’s just how we operate here in Bara Hindu Rao.
