Balaji Enterprises

Balaji Enterprises is tucked away at 11835/7 Sat Nagar in the Karol Bagh area of New Delhi. If you know this part of Delhi, you know that the lanes can be quite narrow and confusing if you aren't from around here. We operate out of this small space where the sunlight doesn't always reach the back of the room. It’s a busy neighborhood, full of other small businesses and families living right above their shops. Our daily routine is pretty simple. We get in, check what needs to be sent out, and try to make some space on the workbench. There is usually a lot of clutter—spare parts, packing tape, and old newspapers we use for wrapping. We aren't trying to be anything special; we just do the work that comes our way. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break and talk to the neighbors about how the weather is changing or how bad the traffic has become on the main road. The walls in here are a bit grey from the city smog, and the floor is concrete. It’s a solid, honest place to work. We don't have fancy chairs or a big sign outside. Most people find us because they know we’ve been in Sat Nagar for a while. It’s just us doing what we do every day.
