Atul The Gents Saloon

You can find us at 4890, Rahgar Pura, which is right in the Main Market area of Karol Bagh. It’s a very busy part of Delhi, and there is always something going on outside our windows. Atul The Gents Saloon is a small place, nothing too fancy. We have the usual barber chairs and big mirrors. Most of the day is spent sweeping up hair and talking to the regulars. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. People come in to get a trim or just to sit for a minute and get away from the sun. We don't have those expensive espresso machines or leather couches. Just some plastic chairs for people waiting their turn. The radio is usually playing some old songs in the background. We know most of the guys who live around Rahgar Pura. They’ve been coming to us since they were young, and now some of them bring their own kids. It’s a lot of the same stories every day about work or the weather. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean. That’s about all there is to it. The Main Market is always loud, but once you’re in the chair, it’s a bit more relaxed. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just do the work and close up when the sun goes down. It is just a normal, local barbershop for the neighborhood.
