Panja Enterprise

You can find Panja Enterprise over on Sadarghat Road, down in the Police Line South area of Sripally. Being in the Burdwan district, we are surrounded by a lot of activity every day. The road outside is always humming with the sound of rickshaws and people walking to the market. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it serves us well. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just a practical workspace where we keep our tools and supplies. A lot of the people who come to see us are neighbors or folks from the nearby villages who have heard about us from someone else. We spend most of our time working with our hands and making sure the orders are ready on time. Sometimes the rain comes down so hard on the tin roof that we can’t hear each other speak, so we just take a break and wait for it to pass. It is a very simple operation. We don’t have a lot of rules or big meetings. We just show up, do the work, and make sure everything is locked up tight before we go home to our families. It’s a good life, and we are happy to be part of the community here in Sripally. We know most of the shopkeepers on this street by name. My desk is cluttered with old notebooks and a radio that only catches one station.
