Chhipabarod Kisan Producer Company Limited

Over in Ward No. 23 of Chhipabarod, we’ve set up our little operation. Chhipabarod Kisan Producer Company Limited is basically a collective of us farmers from around the Baran area. It’s not a shiny corporate setup. To be honest, it’s mostly just a place for us to gather and sort out our supplies. We grew tired of the middleman taking everything, so we figured we should do it ourselves. The office is right here in town, so it’s easy for everyone to drop by after they finish up in the fields. We talk about the rain, the soil, and whatever the government is saying this month. It’s a lot of talk, but we get things done too. Rajasthan farming isn't for people who like to stay clean. We’ve got mud on our boots and calluses on our hands. We aren't trying to sell you a dream or anything like that. We just want to make sure our families are fed and the farm stays in the family. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, and we miss a deadline here or there, but we always look out for each other. Baran is a good place to be, and we’re proud to be from here. No big speeches, just a group of people working the same land our fathers did. We don't need fancy things to get the job done right.
