Chamawali Mata Kisan Agro Producer Company Limited is based at House Number 6 in the Ganesh Nagar Vistar Yojna. This is in Lakheri, which is part of the Bundi district. The place is connected to Heeralal Paliwal’s family, and we’ve been operating from this neighborhood for a bit. It’s a residential area, so it feels very much like a community project rather than a big cold business. We work out of the house because it keeps us close to the people we are actually trying to help—the local farmers. Lakheri is a nice place, but like anywhere in Bundi, you have to work hard to make things grow. Our office in Ganesh Nagar is where we all meet up to plan out the season and talk about what the producer company needs to do next. It’s just a regular house with some space set aside for our files and meetings. We don’t have any big corporate logos or expensive furniture. It’s just us sitting around and figuring things out. We like it this way because people feel comfortable coming by to talk. There is no pressure or fancy talk here. We just focus on the agriculture work and making sure we are doing things the right way for the local folks. It’s a small operation at House Number 6, but we put in a lot of heart into it every day.
