Sadar Memorial Inter College

Sadar Memorial Inter College is based at Taigor Bhawan in the Shiwaly area of Bulandshahr. It’s a bit of an older building, and you can find it without much trouble if you are familiar with Shiwaly. We handle the older kids since it’s an inter college. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but there’s always a lot to do. We spend most of our time keeping the classrooms in order and making sure the students are actually where they are supposed to be. It’s not always easy with so many teenagers around, but we manage. The staff room is usually full of tea cups and piles of marking that needs to be finished. We have a lot of local families who have been sending their kids here for years, so we know a lot of people in the neighborhood. It’s nice because you see brothers and sisters coming through one after the other. The building at Taigor Bhawan gets a bit hot in the summer months, but we have fans and we just try to keep the windows open. We don't have a lot of extra stuff, just the basics like desks, blackboards, and a small area for the kids to stand around during their breaks. Bulandshahr is a busy place, and Shiwaly has its own rhythm, so we just fit right into that. We are just a local school doing what we can for the students every day without any fuss.
