Chs Group Of Colleges

Chs Group Of Colleges is located on Jewar Road in Khurja, which is in the Bulandshahr district. People know Khurja mostly for the pottery, but we are a bit away from the main kilns, out on the road that leads toward Jewar. It is a group of colleges, so we have different buildings for different subjects. The campus has some open space between the blocks where students sit during their free time. The road outside is used by a lot of trucks and tractors, so it can be a bit loud. We have classrooms that are quite large to fit all the students who come in from the nearby villages. The furniture is mostly wooden desks that are bolted to the floor. We have a library that has been collecting books for several years, and it is a good place for the students to sit when they need to finish their assignments. The administration building is where all the records are kept in big steel cupboards. Our staff comes from Khurja and Bulandshahr, so they are very familiar with the local life here. We don't have any air conditioning in the main areas, just regular ceiling fans that hum all day long. In the winter, it gets quite cold, so everyone comes wrapped in heavy sweaters and shawls. It is a very straightforward place for higher studies, without any of the extra things you might find in a big city college.
