Chetak Pigments

Chetak Pigments operates out of B-19 in the Sikandrabad Industrial Area. This isn't a place where you would want to wear your best clothes. Since we work with pigments, everything at B-19 tends to get a little bit of color on it eventually. The walls, the floor, and even the tea cups seem to have a slight tint. The industrial area is loud and there are always trucks moving heavy loads on the main road. Our unit is a big open space where we do all the mixing and packing. It gets pretty dusty, so we keep the big doors open most of the time. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a small corner with a desk and a phone where we handle the paperwork. Most of the guys have been here since the start. We know the machines by the sounds they make. If something sounds off, we stop and fix it right there. Sikandrabad is a tough place to work because of the heat and the dust, but we are used to it. We don't put on a show for anyone. When a customer comes by, they see exactly how the pigments are made. It is just raw industrial work. We focus on getting the shades right and making sure the bags are sealed properly before they go out on the trucks. That is all there is to it.
