Hair Saloon

This Hair Saloon is located in Aari Bagh, which is part of the B K Pora area in Nowgam. It’s a straightforward name for a straightforward shop. We serve the local community here in Srinagar, mostly the people who live within walking distance. The shop itself is quite small and tucked away. We have the usual setup with a mirror, a chair, and a small table for our tools. There is usually a newspaper laying around for people to read while they wait. We do haircuts and shaves, nothing more than that. It’s a quiet place, except for the sound of the clippers or someone talking. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us working the chairs. The neighborhood is mostly houses, so it's a very local vibe.
