Colors N Cuts Beauty Parlour is on the 1st Floor of the Moomin Complex in Hyderpora, Budgam. You have to walk up the stairs to find us, which keeps it a bit quieter than the shops right on the street. We have some windows that look out over the main road, so we get plenty of natural light during the day. The complex has various businesses, so there is always some movement in the hallways. Our space is not very large. We have a couple of chairs for hair and a small corner for other work. We try to keep things focused on the basics. The floor is tiled and we sweep it constantly to keep the hair away. In the winter, it can get quite chilly, so we keep a small heater going near the chairs. Most of our customers are women who live nearby in Hyderpora. They seem to like the privacy of being on the first floor. We don't do any big advertising or have a social media page. It is mostly just people telling their friends about us after a visit. My sister and I run the place together. We drink plenty of tea when things are slow and talk about our day. It is a simple business and we enjoy the people who visit. We try to keep the place organized, though it can get a bit messy when we are busy. We are here from morning to night.
