Chhatariya Dehydrates Exports is located in our own industrial estate, the Chhatariya Industrial Estate. It’s where everything happens for us. We spend our time drying out vegetables and other food products so they can be shipped long distances. It’s a bit of a process, and the machines take up most of the room. The office is just a corner of the building where we keep the records and answer the phones. It’s dusty sometimes, and it always smells like whatever we’re dehydrating that day—usually onions or garlic. We don’t have a fancy website team or anyone to make us look bigger than we are. We’re just a bunch of people who know how to run these dryers. Most of the staff has been with us since the beginning. We know the equipment inside out. When something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't spend much time on meetings; we’d rather be out on the floor making sure the batches are turning out right. The industrial estate is our base, and it’s where we feel most comfortable. We don't need a downtown office. This place works for us because the space is there and we can get the work done without anyone bothering us. It’s simple, honest work that we have been doing for a long time now. We aren't looking for praise, just a good day's work and a clean factory floor.
