Kanwatia Steels

Our shop is on Banaras Road in Ambikapur Town. We are situated right in front of the Ambika Petrol Pump, near Ambedkar Chowk. It’s a very central spot, so there are always cars and bikes zooming past. We mostly deal with steel products, like pipes, sheets, and rods. The metal can be heavy and sharp, so we have to be careful when moving it around. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things to the right size for people. The sound of metal hitting metal is something you get used to after a while. It’s a bit of a noisy business, but it’s what we do. People coming from the chowk often pull over to see what we have in stock. We don't have any polished showroom. It is more of a practical space where the steel is stacked up high against the walls. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to work outside, but we manage. We’ve seen Ambikapur change a lot over the years from this doorstep. Most days are spent talking to local builders and helping them load their vehicles. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It is a straightforward business with no hidden extras. Dealing with steel isn't always easy but it is what we know best. We just keep the gates open and wait for the next customer.
