Yuwam

Our place is tucked away in Sadul Ganj, specifically at B-134 in Jnv Colony. It’s quite close to Panchsati Circle, which makes it easier for people to explain where we are located. Bikaner is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we often have people just stopping by for a chat or to ask about timings. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular spot where we set up the rooms for teaching. We spend a lot of time here, from the early morning hours when it’s still cool until the sun goes down. The heat in Rajasthan can be a bit much in the summers, so we keep the fans running constantly. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. We have old wooden desks and some charts on the walls that have been there forever. Usually, there’s a tea stall nearby where we go during breaks. The students mostly come from the surrounding colonies. It gets noisy when the traffic around the circle picks up in the evening. We handle the paperwork on a small desk near the entrance. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of chalk, but we just get on with it. It’s a simple setup for local people. We don't try to be something we aren't. It’s just Yuwam, a part of the Jnv Colony neighborhood for quite some time now, doing the daily work.
