Rathi Tiles Factory

Rathi Tiles Factory is situated at Plot No. 175 in the Industrial Area of Rani Bazar. Being on the main road makes it easy for the big trucks to get in and out, which is a good thing because we move a lot of material. Working in an industrial area is different from having a shop in the middle of town. It is noisier and there is always something happening, like a machine running or someone shouting over the engine noise. We spend our days managing the production and making sure the tiles are being handled correctly. It’s a lot of manual work and the floor is usually covered in a fine layer of dust. We don't have a showroom with fancy lights. If you come to see us, you are seeing the actual factory where the work happens. Rani Bazar has been our home for a long time, and we know most of the other business owners on this road. We usually eat our lunch together in a small corner of the plot. It’s a basic life but it’s honest work. We don't try to make our business sound more complicated than it is. We make tiles, we sell them, and we try to get through the day without any of the machines breaking down on us. That is basically our whole routine from Monday to Saturday.
