Krishna Gopal Tiles Factory

Our factory is at Plot No. F-10 on Pugal Road, inside the Karni Industrial Area. It’s a noisy place with the machines pressing tiles all day long. Krishna Gopal Tiles Factory started out small, and we still feel like a small operation even though we have more equipment now. The dust from the stone and cement is part of our daily lives. We spend a lot of time checking the patterns and making sure the edges aren't cracked. If a batch comes out wrong, it’s a bad day for everyone. The industrial area can be a bit lonely at night, but during the day it is full of activity. We have a few guys who have been with us since we opened the doors on Pugal Road. We don't bother with fancy advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they saw our tiles at a friend's house or a local shop in the city. The heat inside the shed can get pretty intense during the summer months, so we start early to beat the sun. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to make the time go by faster. It isn't a glamorous job, but there is something nice about seeing a finished crate of tiles ready to be shipped out to someone's new home. We just keep our heads down and work.
