Plug In

We are located right at Shop No 3 by the Veer Durga Das Circle. It is a circular area where the traffic never seems to stop, so there is a constant drone of engines and horns outside the door. The shop itself is not very large, but we make the most of every inch of space we have available. We have cables and plugs hanging from hooks on the walls in no particular order. It is easy to get overwhelmed by all the different types of connectors we keep in stock for customers. We spend a lot of time untangling cords and making sure everything is in the right place so we can find it fast when asked. The heat can get a bit much in the afternoons since the sun hits the glass front of the shop directly. We usually have a bottle of water sitting on the counter to stay cool. People pop in quickly because they are usually in a rush, heading somewhere else through the circle. We don't have much room for a big sitting area, so most people just stand while we help them find what they need. The walls were painted a long time ago and could probably use a fresh coat of white, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We have a small radio that plays local stations to keep us company while we work. It is a simple life here, just managing the stock and helping whoever walks through the door during the day.
