Shree Ram Minerals

We’ve been here at Plot No. 18 in the GIDC Estate for quite a while now. Most people know our spot because we are right near the Kutch Dairy, which is a big landmark in this part of town. It’s a busy area. Every day starts early for us. We handle a lot of different minerals and the dust is just part of the job. You get used to it after a week or two. The yard gets crowded with trucks coming in and out, and sometimes it is a bit of a mess, but we manage. My father started this and now we just keep it going day by day. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. We have a small desk and a lot of old logbooks. People stop by to talk about orders or just to have some tea. We don't really do much advertising around here. Most of our work comes from people just knowing where we are. We see the dairy trucks go by all day long. The sun gets really hot over here in the afternoons, so we usually try to get the heavy lifting done before lunch. It is just honest work. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide the minerals people ask for and try to keep our heads down. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we spend half the day fixing it, but that is how it goes.
