Our place is located at Survey No. 63 on Nadapa Road, out in Dhaneti Village near Bhuj. It is a very dusty part of the country, especially with the minerals we handle every single day. We spend a lot of our time out in the main yard or near the processing area. You eventually get used to the fine white dust covering everything, including your own shoes and the sides of the trucks. The wind blows quite a bit out here in Dhaneti, which keeps the air moving but also makes a bit of a mess. We started here because the location made sense for the raw materials we work with. It is a quiet village for the most part, except for the constant sound of our machinery running. We have a small team of local men who come in every morning from the surrounding villages. We do not have much of a formal setup; it is more about getting the raw materials sorted and moved out to the customers. Sometimes the dirt road gets a bit rough after a heavy rain, which makes it hard for the bigger trucks to reach us. We just take it one day at a time. There is not any fancy corporate office here, just a small room where we keep the paperwork and take our lunch breaks. We know most of the people who pass by on the road. It is a straightforward life, working with the earth and processing minerals for whoever needs them.
