Subhendu Sekhar Praharaj

I’ve been working out of Bhubaneswar for a good number of years now. My name is Subhendu Sekhar Praharaj, and this is pretty much a one-man show most days, though I have people I call when a bigger job comes up. Being in the 751009 area means I’m usually driving around to different sites or meeting folks near their homes. I don't have a big flashy office with neon signs or a team of assistants. Usually, I'm just at my desk with a lot of paperwork or out on the road. It’s been a long journey getting things established here. I grew up around here, so I know the streets and how the local weather affects the buildings and materials we use. Most of my work comes from people telling their neighbors about me, which I appreciate. I don’t spend much on ads. I just show up, do the job, and try to make sure everything is solid. Sometimes the days are long, especially when a project is nearing the end and there are a million little details to fix. I handle most of the calls myself, so if I don't answer right away, I'm probably holding a tape measure or talking to a contractor on a noisy site. It's just simple work done by someone who cares about the local community here in Bhubaneswar. There is nothing too complicated about it, just showing up and doing the task at hand.
