Ruchika High School

At Ruchika High School, things stay pretty busy from Monday through Friday. We are located at G-6 in Ganga Nagar, which is part of Unit-6 in Bhubaneswar. The school building has been around for quite some time now. You can see the wear on the floors from all the thousands of students who have walked through these hallways over the years. We have a lot of classrooms packed into the available space. The teachers usually have their hands full with the older students who are getting ready for their big board exams. It is not a quiet place, especially during the lunch break when everyone is out in the corridors talking at once. We have a few trees in the yard that provide some nice shade when the sun gets really hot in the afternoon. The office staff is always busy typing away or answering the phone. It has a very local, neighborhood feel here. Most of the families in Ganga Nagar know us pretty well. We don't have a large budget for fancy renovations, so we just fix things as they break down. The windows are usually left open to catch the breeze during the humid months. It is an honest kind of place where we focus on getting through the syllabus every year. Sometimes the rain makes a lot of noise on the roof, but we just keep going.
