Gloria Grammar School

Our school is located in the Nean Building right along Cuttack Road. If you are familiar with this part of Bhubaneswar, you know it is a main artery for the city. We have been here for a good while, operating out of this specific spot. It’s a grammar school, so we focus on the core subjects that kids need to master. The building itself has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. We have some long-serving staff members who remember siblings and even cousins of current students. It is that kind of place. We don't have a massive campus with fields, but we make the most of the space we have inside the building. The rooms are set up for learning, with plenty of chalkboards and desks. Sometimes the noise from the road gets in, but we just close the windows and get back to the books. We stick to the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic. It isn't a place for showy events or fancy gadgets. We just provide a desk and a teacher. Most of the parents work nearby or live just a few streets away, so it is a convenient location for the community. We open the doors early and stay until the last student is picked up. It is a simple, honest way to run a school in the middle of a busy city. That is just the way things are done here.
