Pinaki Mohanty

This is basically a home office situation located in the B.H.B Colony in Bhubaneswar. Pinaki lives and works right here at L/187, so there is no long commute to worry about every morning. Being in Orissa, specifically in a colony like this, means you know your neighbors and the postman by name. The room we use for work has a large window that lets in a lot of light, which is nice during the winter months. We have a few desks pushed against the walls and a lot of wires running across the floor for the computers and the internet router. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. Most of our days are spent answering emails or dealing with local paperwork. It is just a small operation, nothing fancy or large-scale. We do not have meetings in big boardrooms; we usually just talk over tea in the kitchen. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks a lot during our calls, but that is just how it is when you work from home. We like the flexibility it gives us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in, one day at a time, without making any big fuss about it.
