This is Mayank Kumar’s place in Sailashree Vihar. Bhubaneshwar is a big city, but this part of 751021 feels a bit more relaxed than the center. The setup here is pretty simple because it’s mostly just me working out of a dedicated space. I’ve got a desk that’s usually cluttered with pens, some loose sheets of paper, and a couple of half-empty water bottles. There’s a window that looks out onto the street, so I spend a fair bit of time watching the local traffic go by while I’m thinking. The walls are mostly bare, maybe just a simple clock and a small shelf for some reference books I use. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It feels more like a home study. The chair I use is comfortable enough, though the wheels squeak a little when I move around. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and you can hear them laughing. I try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the paperwork tends to pile up on every flat surface. Most people who come by are from around the area or have been told to reach out by someone they know. It’s just a practical, everyday environment. There isn’t a sign out front, so you just have to know the house. It’s a quiet way to get work done without all the noise of a big commercial center or busy office building.
