We are based at Plot No 256 in Kananvihar Phase II, which is over in Bhubaneswar. Orissa can get pretty humid, so we spend a lot of time making sure the air conditioning is actually working right inside the building. The office is right there in the middle of Phase II, and most people around here know where Plot No 256 is if they've lived in Kananvihar for any length of time. It’s a busy spot with students and staff moving around throughout the day. We aren't really about the big corporate look; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time to do it. Mostly, we are just focused on the day-to-day stuff that keeps the university running. There is always some paperwork to file or someone looking for a specific room. It is a lot of walking back and forth and talking to people. The area has grown quite a bit recently, but we have stayed right here in our spot. We don't have some grand story to tell. We just show up in the morning, drink some tea, and get to work on whatever is on the desk. It’s a practical way of doing things and it works for us. We like the neighborhood well enough and the people who stop by are usually friendly, even when things get a bit hectic during the busier months.
