Gomathy School

Gomathy School is situated at Plot No 283/1862 in the Patrapada area of Bhubaneswar. The pin code is 751019. It’s a fairly straightforward school building. We don’t have any grand entrances or fountains. There’s a gate, a small yard, and the classrooms. We have been here for a while, watching the area around Patrapada grow and change. There used to be more open fields, but now there are houses everywhere. Our students mostly live within walking distance, so the mornings are full of kids coming in on foot with their backpacks. We spend our days managing the classes and making sure the teachers have what they need. Sometimes the chalk breaks or the duster goes missing, just the usual school problems. We have a small staff room where we eat our lunch and talk about the day. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t put up big advertisements or try to sound like a corporate chain. It’s just Gomathy School, a place where kids come to learn their lessons. We keep the hallways swept and the registers updated. It’s honest work. When the final bell rings, we make sure everyone finds their way home safely. It’s a routine that we’ve grown used to over the years, and it works for us and the families here. We just do our job and come back the next day.
