Golden Publice Sr Sec School

If you go down to Jadupur in Dumduma, you’ll find us at Plot No. 71/754. This is Golden Publice Sr Sec School. We are in the 751019 area of Bhubaneshwar. It’s a senior secondary school, so we have the older kids here as well as the younger ones. That makes for a busy atmosphere. The older students are usually worried about their exams while the little ones are just happy to be outside during break time. Our building is a solid structure, nothing too modern, but it does the job well. We have desks that have seen better days, but they are still sturdy. The staff room is always a bit crowded with tea cups and stacks of notebooks waiting to be checked. We don't have a huge marketing budget or a big website. Most families around here know us because their neighbors' kids come here. We deal with the usual stuff like broken windows during cricket games and making sure the water coolers are full. It gets pretty humid here, so we try to keep the rooms ventilated. It’s a local school for the local community. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just teach the syllabus and make sure everyone stays safe until their parents pick them up. It's a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it for years now. The day starts early and ends when the last student leaves.
