Gnanodaya Public School

You can find Gnanodaya Public School at Plot No.3221 in Chakeisaini. It is tucked away in the Rasulgarh area of Bhubaneshwar. We are not right on the biggest road, but we are easy enough to find if you know the landmarks around here. The school is a simple place where we try to keep things quiet so the children can focus on their books. Around here, everyone knows each other, so it feels a bit like a small community rather than a big institution. The building is painted a light color, though it could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. We have the usual classrooms, a small area for play, and a staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day’s plans. It gets quite busy during the start of the school year when parents are lining up to get books and uniforms. We don’t have air conditioning in every room or anything like that, just the regular ceiling fans that hum all day. Most of the kids walk from the nearby houses or come on small buses. The 751010 area has changed a lot over the years with more buildings going up, but our school has stayed pretty much the same. It is a practical place for education without any of the extra stuff that makes things expensive. We just open up in the morning, do the teaching, and head home when the sun starts to go down.
